I have chosen the following pattern samples because they are the easiest patterns for a beginner knitter. Knitting has become very popular in recent years.
Although knitting needle diameter is often measured in millimeters, there are several different size systems, particularly those specific to the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan; a conversion table is given at knitting needle. In fact what type of knitting yarn to use is one of the most important decisions a craftsperson has to make. Knitting is the process done by the loops, and these loops are stitched through each others and this way, you will get different patterns of the cloths and fabrics.
When you learn these simple stitches and stitch patterns, you can knit virtually any pattern that you wish. To form a "knit stitch" you use one needle to pull a loop of yarn through the existing stitch on the other needle. Knitters have developed methods for giving the illusion of a circular wale, such as appear in Celtic knots, but these are inexact approximations.
Knit it like you would knit any stitch. Good luck with your knitting.
