Originally, circular knitting was done using a set of four or five double-pointed knitting needles. In this brief article we aim to just give a basic understanding of knitting needles, their sizing and what you need to look out for.

This is my version of instructions for the two basic knitting stitches but I have found that it is hard to use a few written instructions.
Take your time and understand the information on this site and you will be able to knit anything you want. Even if you're a pretty proficient knitter, this isn't the time to learn a new technique or work with a skinny fingering-weight yarn that will take forever to knit up.
